Montly Recap: June 2014

 monthlyrecap629
In terms of new articles, June 2014 was the busiest month we've ever had at Learning Domestic Discipline.  In addition to our regular posting schedule, we took part in a month long challenge of writing one post a day for each letter of the alphabet.  All in all, there were 37 new articles throughout the month of June!  That's a lot of stuff to recap!  If you missed any of it, here's an overview of everything added to the LDD blog this past month.
June 1st - June 27th: Rather than list out all 26 of the personal articles we wrote in the Spanking From A-Z Challenge, we'll simply provide this link that takes you to them all.  That's a lot easier. :)
June 2 - Mailbag Monday: Week 47 - We answer questions about getting started with domestic discipline, submissive partners punishing HoHs, and getting your husband to understand how serious you are about the lifestyle in the 47th edition of Mailbag Monday.
June 4 - An Interview With a Spencer Plan/Cooperative Domestic Discipline Couple - Robert and Jade were gracious enough to answer a few questions about their unique style of domestic discipline.  Their fascinating interview can be found by clicking this link.
June 7 - {NEW DOWNLOAD} The Spanking Issues Podcast - We cover a number of issues couples run into when spanking and we offer our recommendations on how to overcome them in the latest free downloadable podcast.
June 9 - Mailbag Monday: Week 48 - The three questions answered in this edition of Mailbag Monday pertain to timed spankings, changing roles in domestic discipline, and talking about domestic discipline "in real life."
June 13 - Five Things Friday: The Busy Summer Edition - Chelsea gives all the dads out there a special Father's Day shout out, she talks about our Vegas vacation, and she takes a little quiz that gives you a glimpse into her every day life in this edition of Five Things.
June 16 - Mailbag Monday: Week 49 - We answer three very good questions about making big decisions together with your partner, so-called "domestic discipline" blogs in blogland, and some "pet peeve" rules in our own marriage.
June 18 - When to Stop Spanking - Finding the right balance between a spanking that is too light and a spanking that is too excessive can be a challenge.  We discuss this subject and offer our thoughts on various cues that indicate when the spanking has served its purpose.
June 21 - Saturday Stories: "What a Difference a Year Makes" - Guest writer Meredith is back for a fourth time -- yes, a fourth time! -- to update us on her progress in domestic discipline.  She talks about challenges she has faced, as well as how her blog has made her some wonderful new friends.
June 23 - Mailbag Monday: Week 50 - In the 50th edition of Mailbag Monday, we answer questions about fairness with punishments, pre-boot camp preparations, and when to advance to the next level of punishment spankings.
June 27 -  Five Things Friday: The Summer Changes Edition - Chelsea shares a website that helps with the line writing punishment, she talks about the upcoming LDD Network, and she recaps the LDD Retreat, which included an engagement!
That does it for the month of June!  We told you there was a lot to cover.  :)  We hope you enjoyed all the new content, and we look forward to more great things in July!  Come along and join us, won't you?

Monthly Recap: May 2014

 mayrecap
Before we get into the monthly recap, we wanted to let everyone know that today is the first day of the Spanking A-Z Blog Challenge. We decided to spin the Spanking A-Z Blog Challenge up a little bit, and post personal stories/entries throughout the month of June. We'll still be following our regular posting schedule as well, but if you'd like to check out the first of the A-Z Blog Challenge posts, for the Letter A, you can do so by clicking here
We love the month of May.  Why?  There are a few reasons.  One, it's spring time in the United States and the weather is always gorgeous this time of year.  Two, May is Chelsea's birthday month.  Happy birthday Chelsea!  Three, Mother's Day is celebrated in May (in the United States).  Four, we get a long Memorial Day weekend in May.  May is just a great month to go out and enjoy the great weather and the season with loved ones. :)
Learning Domestic Discipline also had an eventful May.  The Products Site got a brand new design!  It took a little longer than expected, but the new Products Site is up and running and we hope you enjoy the new look.  If you haven't seen it yet, stop on by and take a look!  We also added a lot of new content to the LDD blog.  If you missed any of it, here's a recap:
April 28 - Mailbag Monday: Week 42 - Three common questions are answered in week 42 of Mailbag Monday.  Questions about preventing bruising, dealing with an inconsistent HoH, and how to handle punishment when the submissive partner is ill.
May 2 - Five Things Friday: Chelsea's Birthday Edition - I (Clint) take over this edition of Five Things.  I talk about a mistake I made in our marriage, Chelsea's birthday, and I also share a link to a domestic discipline blog post that will make you smile. :)
May 5 - Mailbag Monday: Week 43 - We answer questions about stress relief spankings, feeling as though you're being treated like a child by your HoH, and approaching your HoH with a concern in the 43rd edition of Mailbag Monday.
May 7 - The Brand New Products Site! - Chelsea spent weeks building a brand new Products Site, and we're pleased to announce that it's up and running!  Stop on by to check out the new design!  You can download a few free products while you're there, too.
May 12 - Mailbag Monday: Week 44 - When is a good time to mention domestic discipline to a potential partner?  Where can I meet a DD partner?  What do you do when a family member knows you practice DD?  We offer our answers to this trio of reader submitted questions.
May 16 - Five Things Friday: Rediscovering Us Edition - Chelsea returns to the Five Things column to tell you about our mini boot camp experience and our upcoming move.  She shares a couple of her favorite recipes, too.
May 19 - Mailbag Monday: Week 45 - We offer our thoughts on a unique distance discipline situation, and we talk about Chelsea's car related offenses in the 45th Mailbag Monday article.  We also talk about some eBooks that are in the works.
May 21 - Non-Consensual Consent in a Domestic Discipline Relationship - What is non-consensual consent and why is it so important to the success of the domestic discipline lifestyle?  We answer these questions and more in this post.
May 24 - Saturday Stories: "Never Too Late For Submission in Marriage" - Guest writer Jen tells us how doing simple acts of submission made her husband so much happier, and thus her marriage happier.
May 26 - Mailbag Monday (Special Edition): Week 46 - In this special Memorial Day edition of Mailbag Monday, we answer three personal questions that pertain to how we practice domestic discipline in our own marriage.
May 30 - Five Things Friday: The LDD Meet Ups Edition - We've got several LDD Meet Ups scheduled!  Is one of them near you?  We're also going to see Chelsea's favorite band in concert, and we share a Buzzfeed article that you have to see to believe in the latest Five Things Friday post.
Another month is in the books!  We hope you enjoy(ed) all the new content this month.  We're looking forward to plenty of new content in June as well.  We invite you to come along for the ride!  See you this June. :)
