Monthly Recap: February 2014 (Plus a Brand New Free Download!)

February 2014 was a great month for Learning Domestic Discipline.  We had a Valentine's Day promotion, a brand new downloadable podcast, a new downloadable packet, and a number of articles that hopefully helped (and will continue to help) a few domestic discipline couples out there.  Given that this is our first monthly recap of the year, we have a few special things to include in it as well.
The first things we want to include are the January 2014 articles.  We had our baby right at the end of January, so we weren't able to write a January 2014 recap.  We'll make up for that in this monthly recap.  The second thing we want to include is a brand new download!  You'll see it at the end of this post.  And third, we want to make one slight modification to our 2014 posting schedule.
Originally we were going to do a Mailbag Monday article every other week as part of our new 2014 posting schedule.  On second thought, we want to do one every week instead.  It's perhaps our most popular column, and those submitting questions shouldn't have to wait weeks to have them answered.  We're also going to post Mailbag Monday articles on United States holidays that happen to fall on a Monday.  So, look for Mailbag Monday articles every Monday going forward, starting tomorrow. :)
Alright, let's get the recap going, shall we?  Here's a recap of the January and February articles here at Learning Domestic Discipline:
January 4th -- Transforming Your Relationship: A Comprehensive Look Into the Domestic Discipline Lifestyle - We've released our brand new eBook!  We're really excited about it and this post tells you all about it.  Check it out!
January 8th -- New Year's Resolutions 2014: Domestic Discipline Style - We outline our New Year's Resolutions for 2014 (as they relate to domestic discipline) and challenge you with a few as well.  Are you up for them?
January 12th -- Random Updates From Learning Domestic Discipline - This brief post touches on a few things going on in our lives, and and includes a couple of LDD updates.
January 15th -- Why Use Spanking Implements? - I (Clint) outline six reasons couples choose to use spanking implements when conducting a punishment spanking in a domestic discipline relationship.  Do you have other reasons to add in the comments?
January 18th -- Presenting the Learning Domestic Discipline Couples Challenge Packet! - All 12 LDD Couples Challenges are now in one convenient spot.  Download your free copy today and take the 12-month challenge!
January 30th -- Our Baby Boy Has Arrived! - He's here, he's here, HE'S HERE!  We're proud parents again, and we're so excited that our second baby boy is healthy and doing well.  He's so cute (as the picture in this post illustrates)! :)
February 3rd -- Mailbag Monday: Week 34 - Do spankings always need to be done bare bottomed?  How do you respectfully tell your HoH their lecturing is lacking?  How are we (Clint and Chelsea) going to explain the domestic discipline dynamic to our kids?  We answer these questions in the latest round of Mailbag Monday questions.
February 7th -- Five Things Friday: Love Is In The Air Edition - Both of us contribute to this Five Things post!  I talk about not spanking in a while, Chelsea gives you a new DD novel to read, and we celebrate an anniversary!
February 12th -- Why Spanking is a Part of a Domestic Discipline Relationship - Why do people include spanking in their relationships?  We outline several reasons why for anyone looking into the lifestyle, or anyone that may be curious about the spanking aspect of it.
February 15th -- A Brand New Podcast: Types of Spankings - We discuss seven - count them - SEVEN different types of spankings in our latest free downloadable podcast.  Give it a listen and let us know what you think!
February 21st -- Five Things Friday: The "We Survived!" Edition - A lot of things have been going on in our personal lives, and as the title suggests, we've survived the first two months of 2014.  Read all about what has been happening with us in this post.
February 26th -- Abuse of Power in Domestic Discipline - A recent concern of ours prompted this article.  We talk about why it's so important that a head of the household refrain from abusing their power in a domestic discipline relationship.
Whew!  That was a lot to cover!  If you happened to miss anything over the course of the past two months, hopefully this little recap gets you all up to speed. :)
