Hey Clint

Swapping routines is valuable. (When Rob was unemployed we did it for 10 months a while back-it completely changed the tone of our marriage-and it wasn't a choice at the time it was a necessity-best thing that could have happened.) Our roles are what establish our routines and our marriage really is now very egalitarian. Can you differentiate what you mean between roles and routine for me?

Thanks,
Laurie

@Laurie - Sure. In this exercise, a role is in reference to the expected behavior and/or characteristics of a specific partner in their given relationship. A routine is a procedure of various activities on any given day of an individual in a partnership.

I hope that cleared things up for you. Good luck with the challenge!
